Kadambari Komandur

Kadambari is an information designer with an interest in landscapes and ecology. She is a UX designer by day and a researcher, data visualizer  and explorer otherwise. She is currently engaged in projects examining the relationships between communities and urban landscapes. With a belief in using design as a tool for critical thinking and social justice, she imbibes this thought process in her work.

Namrata Narendra

Namrata is an urban researcher based in India and the Netherlands working on her PhD on questions of peri-urban water provisioning with a focus on environment, infrastructure and governance. This project amongst others is her attempt to understand Bengaluru’s water journey, especially the conditions of urban rivers, social and spatial injustice and challenges caused by fragmented urbanisation.

Megha Kashyap

Megha is a designer  from Bengaluru, with an expertise in research, illustration and UX design.  After graduating from Srishti Institute of Design, Megha spent a year working in urban sustainability with various organisations such as NCF and IIHS. Her work explores the connections between people, nature, and cities, bringing attention to critical environmental and social issues.



Arathy Aluckal

Arathy is a mixed-media artist and universal designer, working at the intersection of data journalism and empathy-driven narratives. Through her writing and illustrations, she explores social systems and uses design as a tool for meaningful change.






Madhuri
Mandava

Madhuri Mandava is an Electronics and Communications Engineer with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Three years ago, she co-founded Paani.Earth (https://paani.earth/), a living platform designed to provide data and insights to support river conservation. While she acknowledges that the cleanup of our rivers may extend beyond her lifetime, she believes that Paani.Earth will enable future generations to experience 'living' rivers once again.

Nirmala Gowda

Nirmala Gowda is a computer science engineer who previously worked with Novartis in the US. After more than a decade, she returned to Bengaluru to focus on conservation. Nirmala is the co-founder and curator of Paani.Earth, where she focuses on mapping, insights, and frameworks for river basin conservation. She is also building Mapping Malnad, a platform dedicated to the Western Ghats and its ecosystems.
